So last year I went to MICA, Ahemadabad, for my interview for admission. And they asked me that who was my role model. I said it's Ayushman Khuranna.
I am his HUGE fan and I am watching him since he came on Roadies Season-2.
My entire transition from teenage to adult life happened watching his shows.
I would say this books is PURELY for his fans.

This is an autobiography by the Bollywood Actor, TV show host, VJ, singer Ayushmann Khurana which has been co-written by his wife Tahira Kashyap. It talks of his journey from being an outsider to making it big in Bollywood. Though the editing is sloppy, the book is an honest effort to encourage acting aspirants and code snippets for them so that they can succeed in life. Casually picked it up after admiring his acting in Dum Laga Ke Haisha and this felt like reading his interview

A humble tinsel-town memoir - a bit self-deprecatory, a bit narcissistic.
Summary: A very propagandistic book. Although it's marketed as 'being frank' and 'honest' I felt that throughout the book there are lots of lies / parts where you feel he's lying.
Here are some examples:
* he says he's not sure why he won the Roadies. Perhaps they liked him for being himself or perhaps it's because all the attacks bounced off him. A mildly interesting memoir by Ayushmann Khurana who shot to fame after his debut in Vicky Donor.
After reading Rishi Kapoor and Karan Johar's autobiographies, this one felt a little bland.
However, it is an honest and simple narrative of the journey of a nobody from a small town who made it decently big.

From the time when Ayushmann was VJ at MTV , I was his admirer . I liked the way he carried himself on idiot box . Then he went on to silver screen and left his mark with films. So I decided to go for this book so read about his journey .
Well I liked the book , it was short and crisp . But it could have been presented in a better way . Some codes were good and could help one.

It was a fun read! I have to confess that this was the one book I bought because I thought the author was really goodlooking and I wanted his autograph but the book surprised me and I ended up enjoying the book!
I bought this book because I always wanted to read an autobiography of someone. And there he is!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. It was delightful and a quick read.

It's supposed to be a guide for aspiring actors so can't say how useful it is but as a book it's not much of a story and the writing is like that of a high school essay..underwhelming
Short and crispy ready. Ayushmann khurrana, who is today one of the most talented actors in Bollywood, have come up with his personal experiences from his early encounters with acting during his teenage years to being the highest paid non-celeb anchor and getting started with his journey in the world of Bollywood.
Through the course of this book he shares his feelings which he had towards the dream of becoming an actor and how he have achieved it.

Wow! I just never knew that Ayushmann could be this deft at writing as well.
The narration was gripping enough to keep you on your seat to read just another page before you could take a break. And, that was the case with almost every successive page. Loved the journey and experiences shared.
Also, this book gave me an unprecedented idea about how reality TV shows and Bollywood industry actually function. But, I must mention one thing. The party of the book which I loved the most was the last 30%...more
It's one of the few Autobiography that I have read. But it was one of the best. I really enjoyed Ayushman's struggle and story to becoming an Bollywood actor. And the life tips/codes he shared in this book are really great. A must read for anyone who likes him as an actor or wants to read something more motivating and inspiring.

This book is like ayushmaan sitting beside me telling his struggle stories and joking sometimes. A light goofy and helpful book. The codes marked are somethigns we already have deep inside us, he just makes us realise and remember them.

The book is said to be a guide for all those who dream to enter the Bollywood industry, but the secrets that Ayushmann has shared in the form of codes deserve a better remark. I mean they aren’t just for a ‘struggler’ in the streets of “Aaram Nagar”, they apply on everyone’s life. It talks about a ‘mango man’, who took benefits of all the opportunities that came to him and never left a chance to show his talents to the world. His journey from Rodies 2 to Vicky Donor is really an inspiring one.

Totally biased review this will be as I am a big fan!!! The man has got suave.. in his own Hinglish and down-to-earth way, he has won hearts.. and in this book that reflects so clearly..he is talking about himself..such a crystal clear version of oneself I never read before, especially one from the Tinsel town. every fan must read.. Ayushmann Bhava!

An interesting book that takes the reader through the long journey to stardom and struggle period that Ayushmann faced in Bollywood. It is filled with lots of personal experiences and anecdotes, and kept me engrossed till the end. I would recommend this book as a good, light-hearted one time read.

Nice and easy to read book. A must read for those who want to join any segment of the entertainment industry. He has given so many examples to explain that one will block his progress by confining himself to a comfort zone of steady type-cast role/job.

Nice guy's nice story.
This book is about the up downs in the various career chosen by the author. The author justify his steps taken and lesson learnt.
